Why LEWA?

Hey, beautiful! I am Trina, the creator & owner of LEWA Candle Company. You might have perused my 'About the Owner' page, but today, I want to dive a bit deeper. In this quick blog entry, I wanted to provide more clarity on the driving force behind my candle company. So, why LEWA?

As a woman, a wife & mother of 4, I wanted LEWA Candle Company to celebrate women and all that we are. To be an understanding of the challenges we face in relationships, motherhood, life, and how these things can sometimes cause us to disconnect from who we are. As women, we can take on so much. By nature, we are nurturers. And we tend to put everyone else's wants and needs over our own.

In incorporating this vision into LEWA, which aptly means 'beautiful,' our essence is about celebrating the beauty of life, the beauty of motherhood, the beauty of womanhood, the beauty of you...and the beauty of loving ALL OF YOU! I want to encourage women to embrace every facet of themselves.

I wanted to emphasize the importance of not comparing ourselves to others. In a world that often encourages comparisons, I believe that each woman's journey is unique and beautiful in its own way. The message is clear: Your worth is not determined by how your journey aligns with others, but by the authenticity and courage with which you embrace your own path.

My companies mission extends beyond acknowledging the challenges. It's a call to action to appreciate the beauty in each woman's journey while avoiding the pitfalls of comparison. We understand the weight of responsibilities that women often bear, serving as nurturers in various aspects of life. The core message remains: Self-love is the path to empowerment. And part of that journey involves embracing your individuality and refraining from comparing yourself to others.

I wanted to emphasize the importance of self-love in a fulfilling life. Through LEWA, I sought to inspire women to prioritize their own wants and needs. Wanting each woman to thrive authentically, free from the constraints of comparison. My hope is to build a community that celebrates the multifaceted nature of womanhood, recognizing the beauty of life, motherhood, womanhood, and, most importantly, the beauty of YOU. It's about loving all of you, unapologetically and wholeheartedly, while appreciating the unique journey you're on.

As I wrap up this blog entry, I'm curious to hear from you, beauties. If you've resonated with our celebration of womanhood and empowerment, or if there's a particular aspect you'd love to explore further, I invite you to share your thoughts. Is there interest in starting a community dialogue to discuss womanhood, share experiences, and uplift each other? Let me know your thoughts or suggest any topics close to your heart. After all, LEWA is not just about candles... Its a celebration. Its a conversation. It's a movement..and you are an essential part of it. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
